ISO 22000: 2018 is a food safety management system published by ISO to establish a global standard on food safety management. The structure of the system proposed by the standard is similar to that of quality management systems based on ISO 9001 with a special development of the requirements relating to the production of food products and the obligation to implement the principles of HACCP identifying related risks and managing them effectively.
