This project has been subsidized under the 2025 Nuclear Transition Fund call for proposals, aimed at boosting competitiveness, economic diversification, and industrial development in the municipalities included in Catalonia’s nuclear transition zones.

With the support of ACCIÓ, our company has carried out a set of strategic actions at the Móra la Nova factory aimed at technologically upgrading production processes and strengthening the region’s industrial competitiveness.

The project encompasses several investments designed to make the plant even more efficient, safe, flexible, sustainable, and prepared to meet new production challenges, in line with the principles of industrial transformation and Industry 4.0.

The main actions include:

  • Migration and modernization of the PLCs and SCADA system of a production plant, improving process control and reliability.
  • Replacement and reorganization of the main steam lines and installation of a new condensate line, aimed at optimizing energy efficiency.
  • Renewal of the public address system to improve internal communication and plant safety.
  • Installation of a new production facility for the possible manufacturing of a new product, increasing industrial flexibility.
  • Improvement of various Low Voltage electrical installations.

This set of actions is part of an overall technological improvement strategy that seeks to increase responsiveness to new market demands, reduce consumption, improve energy efficiency and production processes, and consolidate industrial activity in Móra la Nova.

These actions were carried out with the support of ACCIÓ, the Catalan Government’s Agency for Business Competitiveness, through the 2025 Nuclear Transition Fund grants, aimed at fostering business investment and economic development in the areas affected by the energy transition process.
